Instilling a sense of place and connection to nature were key to creating this garden for a luxury holiday home nestled on the tidal creek and marshland of Graveney near Faversham, Kent. Layers of shelterbelt and ornamental planting take inspiration from the colours and textures found within the unique landscape, blurring the boundaries of the garden. Materiality of furniture and luxury elements such as the sunken hot tub and outdoor shower have been carefully considered to harmonise with the colours of the landscape to allow the garden to sit humbly within it’s surroundings; creating an authentic and immersive experience.
