Hope Bay is a unique project situated on the edge of the famous White Cliffs, north of Dover and a few miles south of Deal, Kent. The project is approx. 14 acres and within the Kent Downs AONB, part of which is SSSi designation and also forms part of the South East Coastal Path. The landscape is typical chalk downland and combines a mosaic of habitats including chalk grassland, chalk heath and dense pockets of scrub. The brief is to tread lightly within this wild and unforgiving environment, embracing the 180 degree vistas and settle a new dwelling designed by William Matthews Associates into this unique and beautiful landscape.
The project is due on site in May 2023.
